Lovelife was started in the geography department of San Francisco State University with the intension to stop talking about environmental and social problems and pose a proactive solution.
Lovelife was a company established to promote the use of otherwise wasted materials into a functional and stylish product. Items cannot be "recycled" unless there is another use for it. By creating a market for reused goods, producers, waste handlers, and consumers will value these items less as waste and more as commodity.
The name Lovelife was a direct response to all the negative images, words and logos implied on us each day. We wanted to stand behind a positive message as a mantra of our project.
